Mission to sweep outer corridor of space

During theClone Wars,Jedi GeneralAnakin Skywalker executed amission to scout ahead forSeparatist activity in the outer corridor of a selected region ofspace. Skywalker, pilotinghisDelta-7BAethersprite-class light interceptor with ahyperspace transport ring, was accompanied byastromech droidR3-S6, as his usualdroid,R2-D2, had been lost at theBattle of Bothawui.^[1] Unbeknownst to Skywalker, however, R3-S6 was secretly a Separatistspy,^[2] and subsequently played stupid while sabotaging theJedi Knight, drawing the attention ofGeneralGrievous and his warships. In the ensuing skirmish, Skywalker'shyperspace ring was destroyed, stranding him in space. However, R3's sabotage also drew the attention of Skywalker'sPadawanAhsoka Tano aboard theResolute, who arrived withClone CaptainRex and a squad ofclone troopers in theTwilight to rescue Skywalker from Grievous and the enemy fleet.^[1]
