Michael Kogge is anAmericanscreenwriter andauthor who has written for severalStar Wars projects, including theStar Wars Adventure Journal,Star Wars Gamer magazine,Hyperspace,Star Wars Insider magazine, and theStar Wars: Edge of the Empireroleplaying game. He has also authored a series ofStar Wars Rebels chapter books, adapting episodes from the series'first season. He served as Head Writer for the groundbreaking AR (augmented reality) video gameStar Wars: Jedi Challenges.

Biography[]

Michael Kogge writes for theStar Wars Insider in addition to having penned material forTopps,West End Games,Fantasy Flight Games, theStar Wars Adventure Journal,Wizards of the Coast, andStar Wars Gamer.

He scripted the four-part web series The Despotica forHyperspace's "Xim Week" in2009. The fifth part of the series, "The Gleam of Kiirium," a poem he wrote forThe Essential Guide to Warfare, was published in2013 on The OfficialStar Wars Blog.

In "The Business of Bacta," he created theplanet ofThyferra and the background forbacta.

His original comic series published by Alterna Comics, the Roman epicEmpire of the Wolf, incorporates many of the same classic mythic themes asStar Wars.^[2] He has also written for Blizzard's StarCraft universe and stories set on Edgar Rice Burroughs's Barsoom/Mars.
