- "Ah, 'Mad About Me.' An oldie but a goodie. One of my favorites. I find the sentiment agrees with me very much."
"I think it's overplayed." - ―Hondo Ohnaka andBazine Netal[2]
"Mad About Me," alternatively known as "Cantina Band,"[3] was asingle[4] performed byFigrin D'an and the Modal Nodes. One of their favorites, they played it inChalmun's Spaceport Cantina whenLuke Skywalker andObi-Wan Kenobi entered to find passage fromTatooine toAlderaan. Kenobi and Skywalker got into a fight with patronsPonda Baba andDr.Cornelius Evazan shortly after arriving, interrupting the playing of the Modal Nodes, but when the fracas died down, they resumed the song.[3] The song was notably number one on Tatooine's greatest hits.[4]
An arrangement was played inGarsa Fwip's Sanctuary whenBoba Fett first entered it.[5]
