Five generations after Luke Skywalker took up his father's lightsaber, the galaxy is once again imperiled and hope rests on the shoulders of a young man and his connection to the Force.
In this issue, a legacy is revealed, denied, and endangered as Cade Skywalker's friends turn their backs on him, and he finds himself in league with those he thought were his enemies! Decisions must be made, and a hero's burden must be taken up or cast aside. The Jedi, the Sith, and the Empire all want something from Cade Skywalker, and all he wants is to be left alone. But in a galaxy on the brink of war there is no place to hide!
Plot summary[]
Imperial KnightsAntares Draco andGanner Krieg take on an unauthorized mission to save PrincessMarasiah Fel, who is currently trapped by Sith onVendaxa. They arrive, but are shot down by the Sith. Both survive, and withJediWolf Sazen andShado Vao helping them. Wolf engagingDarth Nihl in a rematch of their former duel onOssus, Shado fightingDarth Talon. During the battle Antares admits that he loves Marasiah, with Marasiah replying only as, "I know".Jariah Syn, having recently found out that Cade was a Jedi, is having doubts about trusting Cade. On the other hand,Deliah Blue is impressed, wondering about how much credits they could make if they had a Jedi on their side. Jariah gets into an argument with Cade, eventually pointing hisblaster at him. Cade then leaves the ship, angry.Cade Skywalker looks on the battle, standing still, having flashbacks ofhis father's death at theMassacre at Ossus. While Cade stands on, a Sith attacks the defenseless Cade, about to kill him. Then Marasiah jumps in the way and kills the Sith, saving Cade's life, but also getting seriously wounded herself in the process. Cade eventually gets up, picks Marasiah'slightsaber up off the ground, breaking his vow to never pick up a lightsaber again, and ignites it. He then shouts with rage, "I have had ENOUGH!"
