TheLasan High Honor Guard, also known simply as theLasan Honor Guard, was a military group on theLasathomeworld ofLasan. The group was tasked with protecting theLasan Royal family.[4] TheGalactic Empire defeated the Honor Guard during itspacification of Lasan, in which nearly all of the Lasat on Lasan were brutally wiped out.[2]Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios was a formerCaptain of the Honor Guard of Lasan.[5]
AgentAlexsandr Kallus of theImperial Security Bureau participated in the destruction of Lasan, defeating aLasat Honor Guard in battle and taking the fallen warrior'sJ-19 bo-rifle—the Honor Guard's traditional weapon—not as a trophy, but because the honorably conquered Lasat gave it to him in correspondence with the Lasan warrior's way: "When one is defeated by a superior foe, he gifts his weapon." Zeb Orrelios also wielded a bo-rifle in his post-Honor Guard days.[2]
