Plot summary[]
The episode opens withC-3PO andR2-D2 approaching the gate ofJabba's Palace on the planetTatooine. C-3PO is fearful and tells R2-D2 that if he told him half the things he knew aboutJabba, he would probably short-circuit.
The video then flashes back to a shot of Jabba devouring agorg. The narrator explains that the the vile gangster Jabba theHutt leads the criminal underworld. Members of theMax Rebo Band includingMax Rebo,Sy Snootles, andDroopy McCool performLapti Nek with theJawaKalit. Thebounty huntersIG-88 andBossk, Jabba's jesterSalacious B. Crumb, and his major domoBib Fortuna watch in the shadows.
Jabba hurls a gorg against thecarbon-frozenHan Solo, who is displayed on a wall.Boba Fett brings anAqualish before Jabba and forces him to kneel before Jabba. Jabba smirks before throwing the Aqualish down the trapdoor. Jabba and his entourage laugh and cheer as therancorPateesa devours the haplessprisoner.
Returning to the prisoner, C-3PO thinks that nobody is inside the palace and decides to return to MasterLuke Skywalker. However, the gates open and R2-D2 rolls inside. Jabba's laughter echoes in the background.
