Indeera Stokes was afemaleTholothianJedi Master during theHigh Republic Era. She was one of four Jedi stationed at theElphronaJedi outpost in232 BBY, along withJedi MastersLoden Greatstorm andPorter Engle, and Greatstorm'sPadawanBell Zettifar. After Greatstorm was presumeddead during aNihilraid, Stokes took on Zettifar as her apprentice, although Zettifar believed that his master was still alive.

Biography[]

Indeera Stokes was aForce-sensitivefemaleTholothian who lived during theHigh Republic Era. She was recruited into theJedi Order,[1] where she eventually gained the rank ofJedi Knight.[5] By232 BBY,[6] she was stationed at theJedi outpost onElphrona in theOuter Rim Territories, alongsideJedi MastersPorter Engle andLoden Greatstorm, and Greatstorm'sPadawanBell Zettifar.[1]

In thatyear,[6] theStarlight Beaconspace station was preparing to open. Greatstorm and Zettifar travelled to aconclave on the station, with the intent that they would return toCoruscant afterwards. However, the occurrence of theGreat Hyperspace Disaster, which disruptedhyperspace travel acrossthe galaxy, changed those plans, and the two returned to Elphrona. Finishing breakfast one morning,Nine-Egg Stew cooked by Engle, Stokes talked with Greatstorm about his plans to clear out achromant nest. With Greatstorm's apparent demise during theNihilraid on Elphrona, Stokes took over training Zettifar.[1]

Stokes was eventually promoted toJedi Master.[7]

Indeera Stokes was a female Tholothian with pale blue head-tendrils sprouting from her scaled cranium, as well as dark skin and brightblueeyes. She was a compassionate Jedi, and frequently assisted Greatstorm with the training exercises he put Zettifar through.[1]

Powers and abilities[]

Indeera Stokes was skilled withthe Force in bothlightsaber combat andtelekinesis. She was mechanically adept and a skilledpilot, combining these abilities to expertly fly both her ownJedi Vector and Greatstorm'sNova simultaneously.[1]

Equipment[]

Stokes wore dark Jedileathers, and wielded ayellow-bladedlightsaber in combat. She also flew her own Jedi Vector.[1]
