Imperial Special Forces (ISF)[11] was a term used to describemilitary units and individuals of theGalactic Empire who were trained to carry out special operations.Kolar Ludd, nicknamed "the Depopulator," came under this group.[9] TheStorm Commandos were thespecial forces of theStormtrooper Corps and trained to deal with extreme combat situations.[4]Imperial Special Forces troopers,[5] including the members ofInferno Squad, were also part of the Imperial Special Forces.[1] The204th Imperial Fighter Wing was an elitefighter wing active during theImperial Era.[2]
TheTL-50 Heavy Repeater was specifically manufactured for special forces.[10]
