Rather than solely hunting for meat,^[4] they mainly kill to demonstrate their bravery.^[5] There existedmodels ofblasters specifically designed for hunting.^[6] The formersenatorJohhar Kessen was considered a legendary hunter.^[2] Usually, onlynon-sentient beings were hunted, but certain criminals would sometimes hunt sentientsillegally.Garnac, leader of aTrandoshanhunting lodge, was known to abduct sentients from all over thegalaxy, includingJediApprentices, and bring them to the moonWasskah, where he hunted them down for sport.^[7]Lexim owned ahunting ground on aforest planet.^[8]
