TheHoming Beacon wasStarWars.com's free biweekly newsletter, sent out to subscribers via e-mail. It served as a supplement to the content found on the site. Near the end of2007, it switched to weekly publication instead of biweekly. The first issue was released onJanuary 27,2000,[1] lasting 358 issues in total with the final issue released onMarch 19,2011. While early issues provided unique source information, later issues (post-issue #239)[2] eventually moved to a purely advertising platform with no unique source articles.[3]
