In7 ABY, theship was commanded byBock Nabyl. Shortly before theBattle of Talasea, the ship was ordered to transport supplies toNight Caller, but had to do so under quarantine procedures due to an outbreak ofBunkurd Sewer Disorder contracted by crewmembers on leave on theplanetStorinal. The captain and crew apparently never learned that this outbreak was deliberately caused byWraith Squadron, who were trying to avoid direct contact with personnel of Zsinj's empire.
The class of theHawkbat remains unknown, but it was large enough to carry at least twoshuttles, theHawkbat's Perch andHawkbat's Vigil.
