Plot summary[]
The episode opens withEnfys Nest invitingHan Solo andChewbacca to join herCloud-Riders rebel cell, telling Solo they need warriors and leaders like him. Solo tells her not to hold her breath before leaving with Chewbacca.
The video then flashes forward to Solo firing atstormtroopers on theDeath Star withLuke Skywalker,PrincessLeia Organa, and Chewbacca. Gripped by the excitement of combat, Solo chases after the retreatingstormtroopers, leading Leia to remark that he certainly has courage. However, Solo is forced to retreat when he runs into aphalanx of stormtroopers.
Following theBattle of Yavin, Solo is awarded agolden medal. He wiks a smile with the other "heroes of Yavin." Chewie roars triumphantly. This is followed by a shot of Han flying theMillennium Falcon with his fellow comrades. Later, Solo rides atauntaun with asnowspeeder patrol sent to look for Skywalker. Solo is showing supporting a wounded Skywalker.
Solo later leads theEndor strike team in combat againstImperial forces during theBattle of Endor. There is a shot of Han accepting ascout trooper's surrender outside theDeath Star's shield generator. The narrator explains that in a"galaxy of adventures", even a scoundrel can rise to rebel leader.
This is followed by a flashback shot ofGeneralCrix Madine asking General Solo if his strike team is assembled aboard theHome One's briefing room. Chewbacca roars in affirmation while Leia and Luke volunteer for the strike team. The episode ends with a halo shining over Solo in the briefing room.
