By thetime of theImperial Era, glowwine was a popular beverage among both adults andyouth on severalworlds throughoutthe galaxy, including theCore Worlds planetCoruscant.[1] In3 BBY,[2] glowwine was served in theImperial Palace on Coruscant during a ball attended by several ImperialApprentice Legislators andImperial Academycadets. While at the ball, theAlderaanianPrincessLeia Organa requested that her colleague, Apprentice LegislatorKier Domadi, bring her a glass of glowwine. Domadi returned shortly after with three glasses of the drink, handing one to both Organa and her friendAmilyn Holdo.[1]
After the trio enjoyed their beverages, Domadi and Organa spent time dancing on the ballroom floor. As thesong they were dancing to concluded, Organa and Domadi left the event and acquired their second glasses of glowwine on their way out. The pair eventually made their way to ahoversled rental booth and took a scan to confirm they had not imbibed anything stronger than glowwine before renting one of the vessels.[1]
