History[]

While theCold War kept thegalaxy in suspense, amaleFalleen claimed to be the infamousLost Prince who was kidnapped 20 years ago. The royal family ofFalleen consequently hired someone to verify the claims. TheFalleen was eventually exposed as an imposter and admitted under arrest, that he was the son of one of the prince's original kidnappers as well as that true princedied years earlier.[7]

In the years following theBattle of Naboo, Falleen experienced a boom in the construction of factories and manufacturing facilities, as corporations found it was less costly to maintain such facilities on remote planets.

During theClone Wars, the planet was represented in theGalactic Senate byZurros, who served as a double agent forCountDooku until Falleen openly joined theConfederacy, though it took aland invasion and coercion of theFalleen King to complete it.

Later, during the early years of theNew Order,Darth Vader established a bacteriological research outpost on the planet. When a highly-destructive flesh-eating bacterium got loose in7 BBY, Vader ordered his ships in orbit toraze the laboratory and the city surrounding it in order to save the rest of the planet. Vader wiped out the bacterium, along with an entire city and over two hundred thousand Falleen, including the royalHouse Sizhran.[8][9] However, biological and chemical research for military purposes continued on the planet in other locations.

Ablockade of Falleen was also established by the Empire at some point, much to the rage of the planet's kings.[10] Decades later, Falleen, which never joined theNew Republic,fell to theYuuzhan Vong, shortly after the destruction of theFondor shipyards andHosk Station. After the war's end, the planet remained unaligned and isolated.

In138 ABY theOne Sith sent theDarklight, anImperious-class Star Destroyer tobombard the planet into submission. However the plan was foiled by theMynock crew andRogue Squadron who destroyed the cruiser.
