Disney XD (launched onFebruary 13,2009) is a cable and satellite television channel owned byThe Walt Disney Company through their Disney-ABC Television Group subsidiary. It was created to replace the Toon Disney channel. Disney XD currently airs action-oriented children's programming, with its primary demographic being boys ages 6 through 14.
Disney XD, along withDisney Channel, airedPhineas and Ferb: Star Wars, a non-canonStar Wars-themed crossover special.[1]
OnOctober 13,2014, Disney XD began airing episodes of the animated seriesStar Wars Rebels.[2]
