TheSith LordsMaul andSavage Opress became crimelords in their plot to gather multiple criminal syndicates as abase of power for their planned conquest during theClone Wars.^[21] Maul continued to commandCrimson Dawn into thetime of theGalactic Empire.^[22]

During the reign of the Empire,Cikatro Vizago was aDevaronian crime lord who ran theBroken Horn Syndicate,^[2] whilst theQuarrenLallani was a crime lady who boastedMandalorianmercenaries, and was a rival of Jabba's.^[17]
