Communications buoys were devices used for communication betweenplanets.Elecia Zeveron planned to intercept and corrupt messages sent via the communications buoy nearPipyyr in order to freeAxel Greylark fromimprisonment there.[1]The Mother gaveFel Ix a set ofGraffian codes that, when inserted in the buoy's programming, would allow her to take control or kill the buoy remotely.[2]
Around9 ABY[3] a group of parents built a communications buoy on theplanetAt Attin that could make it through theBarrier around their planet in order to contact theirchildren.[4]
