A padawan braid
Abraid was a kind ofhairstyle involving multiple strands of hair twined around each other. They were worn by many cultures andspecies acrossthe galaxy.[2]Padawan braids were worn byJediPadawans to signify their status as apprentices, and were ritually cut off when their apprenticeships ended.[3] Braids were also significant to the culture of theplanetAlderaan. ManyAlderaanians wore braids, and the planet'smonarch traditionally always wore them.[2] Thebounty hunterBoba Fett had braids made fromWookiees onhisarmor. Whilst fighting the WookieeChewbacca on theplanetJekara, he threatened to make a new braid from Chewbacca.[1]
