OnSeptember 14,2022, writerEthan Sacks tweeted that he was currently writing the script for the issue.[4] Sacks discovered not much pre-existing lore existed for the planetGand and thus was able to, in his own words, leave his own thumbprint behind ontheStar Wars galaxy via issue 32.[5]
