Gameplay[]
Overview[]

One of the game's many levels.
Angry Birds Star Wars II is the prequel and sequel toAngry Birds Star Wars. It contains characters, planets, and storylines from theprequel trilogy and the animated TV-seriesStar Wars Rebels's first season. Such asThe Grand Inquisitor,GeneralGrievous, andMustafar. The game consists of using aslingshot to throw "pigs" or "birds" to some structures built of various materials which protect various "enemies" or "bosses".
The game features "chapters", groups of levels grouped by storylines, such as "The Invasion of Naboo" and "The Battle of Naboo", every chapter has from 1 to 31 levels. Most of the chapters end with a boss, which can be destroyingPadmé Amidala's ship and allRoyal Naboo Security members on aTrade Federationship, or defeating The Grand Inquisitor on the surface of theplanetLothal.

One of the game's many cutscenes.
The story is told from the perspective of thePork side or theAvian Republic, depending on which side you choose on the main menu, as all chapters have a "Pork Side" version and a "Avian Republic" version. Cutscenes usually follow the movie's or series' stories, however, they usually don't completely follow the plot of the movie or series, such as the first chapter, "The Invasion of Naboo", it showsObi-Wan Kenobi andQui-Gon and Amidala's ship fighting two battles instead of one battle on Naboo.
Chapters[]
The game is divided into chapters. From the first chapter, "The Invasion of Naboo" to the last chapter "Rebels", each chapter has between 1 to 31 levels. There are 8 total chapters, two of them aren't based on any storyline, three are based on thePhantom Menace's plot, 1 is based onAttack of the clones. The two last chapters are one based onRevenge of the sith and the final one onStar Wars Rebels'sfirst season. When a player begins a chapter, they choose a side, to unlock the other side they must complete it or purchase the other side.

The first or second boss you can encounter, and the finale of the first or second chapter, theMTT.
The 8 chapters are, "Reward Chapter", a chapter in which you can master specific characters, "Master your Destiny", where you can develop your skills with the pork or avian sides, "Naboo Invasion", where you can recreate the events of the Naboo Invasion. "Escape to Tatooine", where you battle against Jawas and Sebulba, "Battle of Naboo", end the Trade Federation's control of Naboo. "Rise of the clones", defeat Zam Wessel and Obi-Wan Kenobi, "Revenge of the Pork", battle against the Chosen One or his master, and finally, "Rebels", revive the events of the Rebels TV-show.
Bosses[]
The game's chapters usually end with a boss. The bosses are the movie/series the chapter is based on's villain, such asCountDooku in case you play as the Avian Republic, or in case you play as the Pork Side, Amidala's ship, Kenobi, orKanan Jarrus.
Currencies[]
The game has two currencies, credits and micro-transaction, real world money. You could buy infinite character packs or more credits through micro-transactions. Credits could buy some infinite character packs, more characters, skip levels and unlock chapters or a side of a chapter.
Shop[]

The in-game Avian Republic shop.
