Andurgo

Andurgo was aDugpilot who leftMalastare and served theGalactic Alliance Remnant in137 ABY. He was a member ofRogue Squadron andwingmate toMonia Gahan, and he considered himself the finest pilot of thesquadron.

Biography[]

Andurgo was aDugpilot in theGalactic Alliance Remnant's eliteRogue Squadron in137 ABY. In thatyear, he welcomed the newest Rogue, formerstormtrooperHondo Karr, to the squadron in what he considered the most hilarious way possible — by riding on him. But Karr refused to be ridden and began aknife fight. However, their fight was cut short byRogue LeaderJhoram Bey. Karr took the blame for the fight, and by doing so, he earned the respect of Andurgo. They made up by getting drunk.^[2]

Andurgo flew hisCF9 Crossfire starfighter in theBattle of Mon Calamari, serving as thewingmate ofRonto. His showboating antics almost got Rontokilled, angering fellow RogueAnj Dahl. Luckily Ronto managed to eject and was captured by theEmpire, but he was laterrescued by theImperial KnightsTreis Sinde andSigel Dare. The Knights' actions planted the seed of analliance between the Galactic Alliance Remnant and deposedEmperorRoan Fel'sEmpire-in-exile.^[3]

Andurgo later participated in theBattle of Ralltiir, the first jointfleetaction of the burgeoning alliance. Later in the year, when the Rogues were flying a reconnaissance patrol over Imperial-occupied-Dac, they discovered millions of corpses floating on theoceanworld's surface. TheOne Sith had releasedpoisonousviral spores into the seas, enraging Andurgo and prompting him to disobey new Rogue LeaderAnj Dahl's commands and attack some nearby ImperialTIE predators. His fellow Rogues swooped in toassist him, and Dahl ignored his insubordination due to the horrifying reality they faced. The Remnant'sAdmiralGar Stazi quickly organized a volunteeremergency evac fleet, and the Rogues joined in theevacuation of Dac, which was only able to rescue twenty percent of the planet's population.

In138 ABY, Rogue Squadron participated in thedefense of theJedi'sHidden Temple onTaivas, flying againstSkull Squadron. After this, they fought in a massivebattle held atCoruscant, and in the skies above the planet, Andurgo was killed by anAnnihilator-class starfighter.
