TheAlderaan Refugee Conference was a diplomatic conference held bymembers of theGalactic Senate on theplanetAlderaan during theClone Wars. The conference was held to address the growing number ofrefugees who were displaced by theGalactic Republic's war against theConfederacy of Independent Systems. During the conference,bounty hunterAurra Sing—under contract from the aligned SeparatistZiro theHutt— in revenge for his failure toCountDooku and for his imprisonment; attempted to assassinatePadmé Amidala. The bounty hunter was stopped byPadawanAhsoka Tano and arrested before she could kill the Senator.[1]
