Anadvisor, oradviser, was an individual who helped another individual—often a leader, such as a militaryofficer,[13]king, or anemperor—make decisions. On theplanetMon Cala,Mon CalamariCaptainGial Ackbar served as amilitary advisor to KingYos Kolina during theClone Wars.[14] After leaving theJedi Order and no longer being part of theGrand Army of the Republic, formerJediPadawanAhsoka Tano was unable to serve as thecommander of aRepublic division for theSiege of Mandalore. As such,Clone CaptainRex was madethe leader of the unit, and Tano was dubbed an advisor.[13]
