Harsh was aHumanmale who served theGalactic Empire asMoff of theBosph sector in theOuter Rim Territories during theGalactic Civil War against theAlliance to Restore the Republic. He grew up with the dream of commanding avessel the size of aStar Destroyer and attended theImperial Academy as a young man, graduating with the highest honors after being mentored by asenator who taught himpolitics. Following his graduation, Harsh joined theImperial Navy and was eventually madecaptain of theStar DestroyerCauldron. At the start of the Galactic Civil War, Harsh ledstormtroopers to victory in an assault against Rebel forces during abattle on theplanetChabosh but was gravely wounded in the process. Against the advice of amedical droid, Harsh refused acybernetic replacementlimb and instead waited until the wound recovered.
After his victory and recovery, Harsh came to be considered a legend, andEmperorPalpatine personally promoted him to Moff. Given control of the Bosphsector, Harsh ruled with aniron fist,bombarding the planetBosph andkilling many of itsinhabitants on Palpatine's orders. Following theEmperor'sdeath, Harsh, who had taken residence on the planetOtunia, conspired with the HumanSeth Kabul to take control of themining companyKabul Industries. With company headLorn Kabul, Seth's brother, out of the way, Seth could then partner the company with the Empire. Lorn was successfully killed, but his daughter,Arista Kabul, survived and destroyed the mines used by Kabul Industries, ruining Harsh's plans.(Read more…)
