TheFamicom (Japanese: ファミコン), known in full as theFamily Computer (Japanese: ファミリーコンピュータ) and abbreviated asFC is a games console created byNintendo that was released in Japan in July, 1983. It was localized outside of Japan as theNintendo Entertainment System (NES) that was first released in North America in 1985.

No games inThe Legendary Starfy series appeared on the Famicom, however, it made a smallcameo appearance inDensetsu no Starfy 4. Additionally, a console based on the Famicom called the "Fimicom" (Japanese: フィミコン), known in full as the "Fimily Computer" appeared in theDensetsu no Starfy R manga in chapter seven; "Pufftop Kingdom, Game King Playoff".

The Famicom makes acameo appearance inDensetsu no Starfy 4 in theNintendo Headquarters Special in theStuff, where Starfy (or Starly for Starly's version) holding a Famicom pops out of the back of the building and walks left, meeting Starly/Starfy.

At the end of chapter seven; "Pufftop Kingdom, Game King Playoff",Moe is seen playing a game called "Orima Brothers" (Japanese: オリマブラザーズ), resemblingMario Bros. on a fictional games console called theFimicom (Japanese: フィミコン), shortened fromFimily Computer, based on the real world Famicom.

In the events of this chapter,Starfy andStarly fought over who had the best console. Moe convinces Starfy and Starly that both the "FS" and "Fii" are good consoles and they don't need to fight, but Moe then comments that the Fimicom is the best system.
