Trivia[]
- "More Feeling" is the only short where it appears.
- In the video gameSpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis, during theSpongeBob's Director's Commentary for the level "Paparazzi Patrick!," SpongeBob says that Patrick's final project for photography class was a framed photograph of a box of Kelpo cereal.

A different version of Kelpo seen in "Just One Bite."

Another different version of Kelpo, seen in "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve."
- Cereal boxes with the same name are seen in the trash in "Just One Bite" and on Patrick's breakfast table in "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve," but they differ in appearance from the usual colors and do not depict Kelpy.
- They are also the only episodes to have a box of Kelpo cereal depicted without Kelpy.
- In the first two seasons (with the exception of "Shanghaied"), the box design was slightly different. Instead of the explosion-like symbol at the bottom, there was a triangle. Also, in the first two appearances specifically, the box is more a yellow-tan shade while the logo is a darker shade of blue.
- In "Shanghaied," the box says one can get one of eight essential prizes inside, but in "Sentimental Sponge," SpongeBob only has one type of prize in his collection.
