Appearance
The White 8-Bit FishFry is a white, short-sleeved T-shirt with a large, pixelated Firefin logo on the front, stylized as an 8-bit console era sprite. On the back is the same thing, but with the logo turned around as if seen from behind. It has a tiny white tag at the bottom, also with the Firefin logo. InSplatoon 3, the shirt can be changed into an oversized version using the "Adjust Gear" feature.

As a 1-star item, the White 8-Bit FishFry comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with aSuper Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Sinceit is made by theFirefingear brand, it has a higher chance of rollingInk Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rollingInk Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level.
