Appearance
The Swim Reaper is a glow-in-the-darkGhostface-style mask worn over the face with a black hood worn over the head. The upper part of the mask resembles a skull's eye sockets and nostril cavity, and the lower part resembles four tentacles draped beneath the nose and around the mouth like a large handlebar moustache. The left side of the hood features a large patch in a dark shade of the wearer'sink color.
When displayed in alocker inSplatoon 3, this gear is placed on a black mannequin head.

Abilities
The Swim Reaper comes withSpecial Saver as the primaryability when purchased from a shop or ordered fromMurch. When purchased fromSplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Swim Reaper comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased withSuper Sea Snails for 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Sinceit is made by theSquidForcegear brand, it has a higher chance of rollingInk Resistance Up and a lower chance of rollingInk Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slots.
