Splatoon 2 OST Selection
Splatoon 2 OST Selection is a 45 RPM vinylphonograph record containing threeSplatoon 2songs byWet Floor.
This record has not been officially released to the general public, but was said to have been distributed to the press.[1] One of the copies was given as a prize atAwesome Games Done Quick 2018,[2] and eight others as prizes through three different giveaways organized by theSplatoon France Twitter account in early 2019.[3][4][5] A few other copies were also given as prizes to the winners of the dailySplatoon 2 tournaments at Paris Games Week 2018.[6]
The front cover uses a slighty zoomed-out version of the render used in theSplatune 2 cover, with theSplatoon 2 logo in the top right and "OST SELECTION" written on the bottom left. The back cover contains theSplatoon 2 logo, as well as a track list with runtimes and the RPM information.
Some copies of the record include a print with the album image of Wet Floor on one side and a track listing written in mimicrysquid language on the other.[7] The style of the track listing appears similar in style to that seen inSunken Scroll 15 fromSplatoon 2, except that the last two track entries from the Sunken Scroll version are replaced with squid language that appears to mimic "Endolphin Surge".

Trivia
- According to the rules of the Paris Games Week 2018Splatoon 2 tournaments,[8] the record wasn't originally supposed to be one of the prizes given to the winners, which were a 20€ voucher for the Nintendo EShop, the three-packOctolingamiibo, and one trophy for the team. However, the rules also state that in the case of unavailability, prizes of equivalent nature and value will be awarded to the winners, which seems to be the case here.
- When promoting its first two giveaways of the record, theSplatoon France Twitter account used the cover ofSplatune 2 rather than the one ofSplatoon 2 OST Selection, while also labeling it as aSplatune 2 vinyl.[3][4] The correct cover and a more accurate descriptor were used for the third giveaway.[5]
- The record is more accurately described as aSplatoon 2 vinyl, rather than aSplatune 2 vinyl, in the rules of the first two giveaways.[9][10]
