Shifty Station is the title given to a series of multiplayerstages inSplatoon 2. The stages were originally only available duringSplatfests, but were made available inPrivate Battles starting with version5.0.0. Only one Shifty Station appeared per Splatfest, except forChaos vs. Order andSuper Mushroom vs. Super Star, which had multiple, and theSplatoon 2 Splatfest World Premiere, which had none.

Shifty Stations typically either have parts of the stage moving around and/orOcto Canyon stage gimmicks, such asInk Cannons andGrapplinks. The only stages that are exceptions to this rule areSweet Valley Tentacles,The Splat in our Zones, andMC.Princess Diaries. Sweet Valley Tentacles uses a unique gimmick, The Splat in our Zones uses freeSplat Zones, and MC.Princess Diaries useshyperbombs from theOcto Expansion as well asPearl'sPrincess Cannon.
