TheSchool Uniform A andSchool Uniform B (known inSplatoon andSplatoon 2 as theSchool Uniform) are a pair ofclothing items in theSplatoon series.
InSplatoon, it is a 2-star item produced byamiibo and comes with the primaryabilityInk Recovery Up.It is only available from the Inkling Girl or theSplatoon 2 series Inkling Girl 2 amiibo. It cannot be ordered from another player.

InSplatoon 3, they are a pair of 1-star items produced byamiibo, each comes with the primaryabilityInk Recovery Up.Both items are only available from the Inkling Girlamiibo. Both items cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The School Uniform consists of a navy blue jacket, a cream sweater, a white collared shirt, and a tie which changes its color to match the wearer's ink. On the top left side of the jacket is an emblem, likely a school emblem, and near the middle of each side of the jacket are pockets. The jacket also has two golden buttons on its front opening and another golden button can be seen on the back of each sleeve, all of which are ornamented with a squid.
The A variant adds a pleated skirt which changes color to match the wearer's ink and the coat's frontal buttons are on the wearer's left side.
The B variant does not come with extra legwear, has a shorter sweater, and coat's frontal buttons are on the right side.
InSplatoon andSplatoon 2, both variants are unnamed and the A variant is applied for girls, while the B variant is applied for boys. InSplatoon 3, both variants are available as separate pieces of gear and can be worn regardless of the wearer's style.
Splatoon
The School Uniform debuted inSplatoon at release. It is available through use of any generation of theInkling Girl amiibo.
Abilities
The School Uniform comes withInk Recovery Up as the primaryability. As a 2-star item, the School Uniform comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with aSuper Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Sinceit is made by theamiibogear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
Unlock
To unlock the School Uniform, the player must play the second set ofOcto Valley missions from the Inkling Girl amiibo:

The School Uniform is received after completing the boss challenge.

The School Uniform returns inSplatoon 3'sDrizzle Season 2022 inversion 1.1.0. Both styles are available regardless of the player's customization style.
Abilities
Both School Uniform A and School Uniform B come withInk Recovery Up as the primaryability. As both of them are 1-star items, they each come with two additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased withSuper Sea Snails for 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star. Increasing the star level to 2 stars will add another secondary ability slot for a total of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Sinceboth items are made by theamiibogear brand, they each has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
