TheOcto Shower is the penultimateOctoboss encountered inSplatoon 2'sOcto Canyon byAgent 4. It also appears in theOcto Expansion as the Octo Shower Supreme.
Background
The Octo Shower is one of the Octobosses created by theOctarians and used in the events ofSplatoon 2. It is the boss ofSlimeskin Garrison. It also appears as a boss in theOcto Expansion, located atJ01H07Cool Your Jets Station. InThe Art of Splatoon 2, it is confirmed that the rubber duck shown in the first cutscene, Quackers, is the Octo Shower's love interest.
Description
The Octo Shower appears to resemble a brass shower head, wearing a shower cap while hanging from three to four chains held byOctocopters. Its eyes appear to be made of vents while also glowing red.
Octo Canyon
WhenAgent 4 arrives at itsmission, it rises out of a large puddle of ink before attacking. It starts by firing twoOctorpedoes at the player, and also uses aCharger as another attack. It is also able to rush towards Agent 4 with a shower of ink, in a similar manner to aFlooder. When Agent 4 manages to splat all three of the Octocopters, then the Octo Shower falls and a tentacle appears. In the second phase, the Octo Shower is aided by four Octocopters and can now use a hand-crankedSplatling. In the last phase, it is able to use theSting Ray while being aided by fourRocket Octocopters. After the final tentacle has been splatted, the Octo Shower goes into a panic and calls for more Octocopters (which do not come) before it explodes.
Octo Expansion
The Octo Shower returns in theOcto Expansion, known as the Octo Shower Supreme, where it has been moved toCool Your Jets Station. Its battle withAgent 8 is very similar to its battle with Agent 4, except this time, Agent 8 is only able to battle with theInkjet and the Octocopters also attack more often. Each time an Octocopter gets splatted, the Octo Shower Supreme uses its shower attack, but even faster. In the final phase, when it uses the Sting Ray, it now causes a shockwave (similar to its multiplayer counterpart, as of version1.3.0). Each time after the tentacle has been splatted, the Octo Shower calls for the Octocopters until the third tentacle is splatted, finishing the station.

Trivia
- If the Octo Shower hits the edge of an obstacle while landing, it will start bouncing until it lands on the ground.
- The Octo Shower, similar to theOcto Oven, was not originally designed as a weapon. Before being retrofitted, it was an old boiler.
- Due to the research team adding too many functions, the Octo Shower cannot fly by itself.[1]
- There are two rubber ducks that sit on top of the Octo Shower; one is named Quackers and the other one is its lover.[1]
