TheNull Boots Replica are a pair ofshoes in theSplatoon series.
They are a 2-star item produced byCuttlegear and come with the primaryabilityDrop Roller.They are obtained from theOcto Expansion by talking toIso Padre after collecting six sets ofmem cakes (including grayscale mem cakes). They must then be claimed from a box inInkopolis Square after completing theOcto Expansion. They cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The overall color of the boots are a dull gray. On the front and back of the boots there is aKamabo Corporation logo, with the logo on a small circle on the back. These are both outlined. On the toe, there are three purple circles, and on the heel there is an oval that circles the heel. These places and the outlines of the Kamabo Corporation logos with change with the player's ink.
This item is a replica of the boots worn byAgent 8 after picking up two pieces ofarmor in anOcto Expansion level.

Abilities
The Null Boots Replica come withDrop Roller as the primaryability, which, being exclusive to the main slot ofShoes, prevents the wearer from also havingObject Shredder orStealth Jump. As a 2-star item, the Null Boots Replica come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with aSuper Sea Snail for each slot. Sincethey are made by theCuttlegeargear brand, they have equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

Etymology
The "Null" in the English name is the romanization of ネルNeru (Japanese name ofKamabo, which can also mean 練るneru "kneading") instead of the intended "Kamabo".
