TheMecha Legs - LBS are a pair ofshoes inSplatoon 2.

They are a 3-star item produced bySquidForce and come with the primaryabilityObject Shredder.They are only available as aCoroCoro Comic promotion in Japan. They cannot be ordered from another player.

CoroCoro Comic held a drawing competition for designing a new set of gear in which the winning design would get to be in the game. The set was released at15 April 2019 for Japanese copies only. It includes theMecha Head - HTR,Mecha Body - AKM, and Mecha Legs - LBS.

Appearance

The Mecha Legs - LBS are a pair of gray, blocky mechanical boots with several tubes strapped to the tongues of the shoes, the tubes are glowing and take on the ink color of the player. The front of the shoes are a grayish green. The shoes appear to not be entirely metal, as there are some fabrics in the design.

The Mecha Legs - LBS come withObject Shredder as the primaryability, which, being exclusive to the main slot ofShoes, prevents the wearer from also havingDrop Roller orStealth Jump. As a 3-star item, the Mecha Legs - LBS come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Sincethey are made by theSquidForcegear brand, they have a higher chance of rollingInk Resistance Up and a lower chance of rollingInk Saver (Main) to fill their secondary ability slots.

• This item was worn byGoggles, with the rest of the Mech gear, in Chapter 33 of theSplatoon manga for a short period of time.
  • It also seems that the character in the design for the gear is Goggles.
• The Mecha Legs - LBS was supposed to haveStealth Jump but was changed toObject Shredder inversion 4.6.1.
• The codes for this gear expired on31 December 2020, and therefore this gear is no longer obtainable.
• The Mecha Legs are one of threeshoes produced bySquidForce, the others being theFry Tops and theBurden of Floof.
