Appearance
The Lightweight Cap is a simple, smooth cap that changes color to match that of the wearer'sink. It is made fromripstop fabric and has a ventilation eyelet on both sides.

The Lightweight Cap comes withSwim Speed Up as the primaryability when purchased from a shop or ordered fromMurch. When purchased fromSplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 0-star item, the Lightweight Cap comes with one additional slot for secondaryabilities. The star level may be increased withSuper Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Sinceit is made by theInklinegear brand, it has a higher chance of rollingSub Resistance Up and a lower chance of rollingIntensify Action to fill its secondary ability slots.
