Appearance
The Ink-Black Flap Cap is a black aviator hat with a minimalistic design. It consists of a visor sewn to the front panel. The panel is ornamented with Barazushi handwriting. A pair of flaps on the sides are adorned with a white Barazushi logo with text underneath that face the same direction on both sides. Two buttons are on their top corners. The cap also possesses a tiny black toggle with an adjuster resembling a a squid, with a string loop beneath it.
When displayed in alocker inSplatoon 3, this gear is placed on a black mannequin head.

Abilities
The Ink-Black Flap Cap comes withSpecial Power Up as the primaryability when purchased from a shop or ordered fromMurch. When purchased fromSplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Barazushi. As a 2-star item, the Ink-Black Flap Cap comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased withSuper Sea Snails for 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from for 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Sinceit is made by theBarazushigear brand, it has a higher chance of rollingIntensify Action and a lower chance of rollingSub Power Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
