Appearance
The FC Albacore is a green soccer jersey with sections of yellow. The sleeves and collar are lined with white, on the left arm is an orange armband with a blackTakoroka logo, and up to each shoulder is a row of three greenchevrons.
There is a smaller Takoroka logo on the right side of the chest in white, and a small red and white crest on the left of an in-universe coffeehousecompany. Below the logo and crest is some heavily-stylized whiteInkling text. On the back of the Jersey is some more white Inkling text which somewhat resembles the word "Nintendo", with a large number under the text that resembles the number 10.

As a 1-star item, the FC Albacore comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with aSuper Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Sinceit is made by theTakorokagear brand, it has a higher chance of rollingSpecial Charge Up and a lower chance of rollingSpecial Duration Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. - InSplatoon 3, the FC Albacore listsEnperry as its brand rather thanTakoroka. Despite this, the shirt still has the same design from previous games, which includes the Takoroka logo on the arm band and chest.
Etymology
Albacore are a species of tuna fish.FC likely stands for "football club", an abbreviation commonly used in professional association football/soccer team names.
FC Albacore may also reference the real-lifeLiverpool F.C. football team. TheSlipstream United is the only other soccer jersey inthe Splatoon series, which is likely named in reference to the real-lifeManchester United F.C.; the two teams famously havea long-standing rivalry.
