Dead Sea is asong inSplatoon 3 byFirefly. It plays inLandfill Dreamland inReturn of the Mammalians.
Description
Reason:Should have a denser description, such as the one seen inUnderwater Neon.
Dead Sea has an industrial feel making greater use ofnoise than the songs played at other sites, with metal pipe-sounding noises, and a steady pulsing rhythm. In the later phases a steady drum beat is featured. At the very beginning, a boat horn with a digitally lowered pitch can be heard, with the lowest pitches as didgeridoos. Following this, a bass line is played on a synth, up until 0:35, where the beginning boat horn sound is played again. The loop follows this, up until 3:30, where the melody ofMaritime Memory can be heard.
Phases
Dead Sea has 4 phases. Each phase advances to the next by collectinggold records. Phase 1 being whatAgent 3 will hear before any golden records are collected. Phase 4 being the final and complete version ofDead Sea which Agent 3 will hear when all ofLandfill Dreamland's golden records are collected.
Etymology
TheDead Sea is a real-world salt lake borderingIsrael,Palestine, andJordan, named for the scarcity of aquatic life due to its high salinity.
