Etymology
Burden of Floof is a pun on "burden of proof", a legal term establishing which party in a dispute is presumed to be correct and which must prove their case, and "floof", a humorous deliberate modification of "fluff" often applied in regards to fur or furry animals. Like theFrivolous Paw Suit andJudicial Hearing, the legal pun in the gear's name likely alludes toJudd's role as the "judge" of matches.
