The Berry Splattershot Pro shares its overall design with theSplattershot Pro. However, the Berry Splattershot Pro's tube is light pink, the trigger piece and pyramid are teal, and the nozzle, handhold, and the piece next to the pyramid are all hot pink.

The Berry Splattershot Pro is ashooter inSplatoon, first announced during theNintendo Direct on3 March 2016. It is one of eightweapons included inSheldon's Picks Vol. 1 and was released on13 April 2016 at02:00 UTC.[1]

- The Berry Splattershot Pro is amiddleweight weapon.
- Each shot consumes 1.9% of the ink tank capacity.
- This allows players to fire 52 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
- This stat can be changed withInk Saver (Main).
- When firing continuously, it shoots a bullet every 8 frames (7.5 shots per second).
- When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.5 units per frame.
- After firing, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
- Each shot has a base damage of 42.
- Shots travel straight for 5 frames. After that, they may lose damage. A shot will lose damage until it reaches 21 damage at frame 18.
- Shots have a radius of 2 units.
- The angle its shots can deviate while on the ground is 3 degrees.
- The angle its shots can deviate while in the air is 12 degrees.
- The outer reticle immediately expands after jumping. The outer reticle will finish shrinking after 60 frames.
- The chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle increases by 10% per shot, and maximizes at a 25% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle.
- This means that it takes 3 shots to reach minimum accuracy.
- When jumping, the chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle is immediately set to 40%.

- This weapon was absent fromSplatoon 2, likely in favor of theKensa Splattershot Pro being the new third variant of theSplattershot Pro.

Etymology
TheBerry Splattershot Pro is a combination ofSplatter (as well asSplat),Shot and the shortened form ofProfessional at the end. It also has the wordBerry as a prefix to differentiate it from theSplattershot Pro and theForge Splattershot Pro. The wordBerry most likely refers to its color scheme.
Its Japanese name, プライムシューターベリーPuraimu Shūtā Berī, means "Prime Shooter Berry". It contains the word "Berry" for the same reasons as its English name.
