TheShell-Out Machine andcatalog are the most common way to receive banners inSplatoon 3.

Shell-Out Machine jackpots

There is a 0.1% chance players may receive a gold capsule, which rewards them with a seasonal banner. Each seasonal banner is a golden replica of the second banner unlockable from its respective seasonal catalog. Previously, each seasonal banner was only available during respective season. Since the start ofDrizzle Season 2024, two banners of respective seasons are available during any season of the same name. If a player has already received both seasonal banners, they will get a bronze capsule instead.

TheShell-Out Machine has a 6% chance of giving a banner per attempt. Which of the 176 designs is obtained is random, with an equal probability for each banner not obtained so far. In addition, in theversion 3.0.0 (Fresh Season 2023) update, the exclusive banners from previous seasonalcatalogs can be obtained as well. If the player has already obtained all of the available banners that can be obtained from catalog bonuses and/or the Shell-Out Machine, any new banners acquired will giveCash 5000 instead.
