Appearance
The Bamboo Hat is a simple conical hat that changes color to match the wearer'sink. The main section is somewhat dark, with brighter areas around the edge and at the top. On the front is theSplatoon version of the Inkline logo in black and white, on the left side is brightly colored calligraphic writing that appears similar to Chinese characters (but could very well mean nothing), and on the back is a small blue tag with a white symbol. Around the chin is a black rope with a gray fastener in a stylized squid shape.
When displayed in a Locker inSplatoon 3, this gear is placed on a black mannequin head.

The star level may be increased withSuper Sea Snails for 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 2 stars will add another secondary ability slot for a total of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Sinceit is made by theInklinegear brand, it has a higher chance of rollingSub Resistance Up and a lower chance of rollingIntensify Action to fill its secondary ability slot.
