InSplatoon 3, a variety ofbadges can be earned through achievements and playing the game, and up to three of them can be displayed at once on the bottom-right corner of a player'sSplashtag.
There are currently 1,542 badges; the most recent update to add new badges wasversion 10.0.0.
The following tables of badges are arranged in the order that they appear in the Splashtag menu. The only exception to this is the Weapon Freshness tables forshooters andblasters, where in the in-game menu, the blasters are displayed between the badges for theAnnaki Splattershot Nova and theL-3 Nozzlenose.

These badges are obtained for raising amain weapon'sFreshness for 4 to 10 stars and winning matches while using aspecial weapon at least once for a specific number of times. Reaching 4 stars on multiple weapons for a specific amount rewards players with additional badges.
These badges are obtained by reaching certain levels, ranks or winning a certain number of matches. Some of them can only be obtained during aSplatfest, with progress towards the needed wins carrying over to the next Splatfest.

In a promotional image for badges, the player has 5★ weapon badges for weapons they don't have the 4★ badge in, which is impossible as a 5★ badge's requirement is an extension of the 4★ badge's.
As ofversion 2.0.0, it is possible to obtain all 4 badges relating to Tricolor Battles during a single Splatfest, as players are not locked to be attackers or defenders.
DuringFresh Season 2023, the base-levelZ+F badge could technically be obtained for free as thecatalog during the season only included gear from Z+F, with the total star value equating more than 30 stars, the amount of stars needed to get a brand badge.
This is repeated inFresh Season 2024, which includes all the gear from the previous Fresh Season.
With the release ofversion 6.0.0, theSalmon Run Next Wave stage badges are now the only badges with the distinction of directly affecting gameplay (now allowing players to begin new shifts at higher base job titles than was previously possible).
If the player were to obtain all gear and level them up to 2★'s, the only golden brand badges that would unlock areSquidForce andTentatek, with 130 and 104 stars respectively.
