So I first played this when my stress was extremely high due to environmental factors. And man oh man, did this game calm me down so much. I didn't expect it to. I thought it might distract me and take the edge off. But the puzzles were just balanced enough to keep me interested, throughout the game, the music was so relaxing, and the sounds of the water moving was so soothing. And I got so much satisfaction from watching the flowers pop up once I solved a puzzle. The ending song and visuals made me burst into tears.
I mean, admittedly it was an extremely hard week I was going through. But super soothing game. Soothing, not too hard but not too easy, and every time something new was introduced it was at exactly the right moment.
Love it. 10/10. Thank you all for the time and effort put into it <3
Very fun game! I respect a game that has a specific goal and executes it well. The puzzles are satisfying, and the environs are just as detailed as they need to be.
I like the difficulty of the puzzles. The harder puzzles were tough enough to make me scratch my head, but not so tough that I needed to phone a friend. Some were very easy, but I could tell they were there to teach me a mechanic, so I stayed interested (and got a pleasant break from the difficulty). The way they build on each other reminds me of Mario games.
It brought a smile to my face on a hard day.
WOW! beautiful game, really enjoyable to play, i would usually get through about 10 levels at a time, get stuck on one, get frustrated, quit for a few days, come back, succeed, then get through another bunch of levels before getting stuck and repeating the cycle again, so it was the PERFECT level of difficulty for me, and i really enjoyed the kind of physical nature of the puzzles. Excellent game! Excellent work! thank you for sharing!
i played this game over the course of a few streams and i had a lot of fun with it! :D the difficulty of the levels was nice and the feeling of accomplishment when i had finally done all of them was so neat :] the atmosphere of everything was also so calm, my only wish would have been to have a slider for the music/sounds :]
i have been playing games for two decades, i have thousands of hours in various individual games, i've played AAA, indie, indie that turned into AAA, probably hundreds of random flash games, mini arcade games, puzzles, etc, etc, etc.
I have never played a game that made me feel as happy as Spring Falls. 100 out of 10. This is getting strong recommendations to all my friends, and a huge thank you from me ❤️🔥
Loved this game. Excellent puzzle design, UX design, and pacing. The introduction of new features and challenge each level presents is very well paced. Top-notch theming, very relaxing to carve out streams and waterfalls from the mountainside. Using running water was my favorite mechanic. Yall did a great job on this!
Would there be any plans to bring this to Andorid?
This is a terrific game. A great idea, executed just right. The visual style isreally well polished, the puzzles ramp up nicely, and the game feels like the perfect length. I was definitely worried that the puzzles would simply keep getting bigger and that their size would become the main obstacle. Luckily that wasn't the case!
A great choice, pick it up and enjoy!
I'm really struck by the the zen aesthetic of the shifting earth and moving water concept. Running water, ponds, and pools are some of my favorite natural things. So to see a game incorporate the guiding of water as a mechanic for puzzles is extremely cool.
Admittedly, it might be too relaxing to personally play for long periods, XD, but I don't see enough games that look or work like this. And it is gorgeous.
A great, peaceful experience, where you have to bring water to flowers in order to make them grow. Really relaxing are the ambient sounds and music, and pleasant are the visuals and the colours. From the point of view of the gameplay, this game offers a collection of puzzles - pretty straightforward in the most cases - with a slow increase in the difficulty curve and the addition of new mechanisms going forward with the levels.
