Cornhole PD
A downloadable game
Cornhole PD is an upcoming Cornhole sports game for the Playdate handheld console, You can play single-player against computer players, or local multiplayer by passing the Playdate to a second person between bag tosses.
Story Mode will tell the story of a college kid going back to family reunions from year to year. As you play against your family members, you'll catch up on family drama, and talk about your previous year at school through dialogue choices. Watch as family members grow closer or further apart, and how a queer person relates to a family that doesn't see them for who they are.
Cornhole EX-W was a jam game that I developed for a midwest game jam with Extreme Weather as the theme. Below are the instructions and information about it.
Use the crank to move the player's arm. Press A or B to set your desired throw height. Swing your arm down and back up to the throw position to throw the bag. Tilt your Playdate to angle your throw.
This is just a short story game based around the game Cornhole, but eventually I'd like to develop the Cornhole mechanics further for its own standalone sports game.

Thank you!! It's a pretty neat little console. I like developing for it because I find that without tight limitations, I can never finish a game. It makes a lot of design decisions for you, if you pay mind to what it excels at. 1-Bit art restriction and minimal API for the dev environment is also a plus.
