Zenit-2FG (Fobos-Grunt)

TheZenit-2FG is special modification of theZenit-2SLB to launch theFobos-Grunt mars probe into low earth orbit.
The Fobos-Grunt includes aFregat-SB based propulsion module, which provides also the trans-Mars injection from low earth orbit. This Fregat-stage is part of the payload. The Zenit-2FG features the payload fairing of the three stageZenit-3F, which features the Fregat as upper stage.
