MEYERS, Calif. – Three men were arrested early Saturday morning following an attempted home invasion robbery at a Meyers residence.

Deputies from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO) were dispatched to a home at 4:34 a.m. January 16 after dispatch received a call from the residents. They said two men entered their home and attempted to conduct a robbery while using violence. EDSO said the residents resisted and there was some “physical conflict” between two or three residents and the two suspects.

The two suspects then left the home in a vehicle driven by a third suspect.
