The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. However, there were some issues, including a malfunctioning lamp and a lingering smoke smell despite being a non-smoking room. The staff was friendly, but improvements in housekeeping would enhance the experience.

The two-bedroom suite offered plenty of space for our family, and the kitchen helped us save on meals during our stay. However, cleanliness left much to be desired, with dusty floors and bugs in corners. Additionally, the pool experience was frustrating due to the lack of towels and poor communication from staff, which detracted from our overall enjoyment.

Had an amazing stay with friends! We enjoyed visiting the nearby Birmingham Zoo and the Vulcan Center Museum. The rooms were comfortable and the amenities made for a great experience. Even while experiencing renovations, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

The only downside was that there was no hot full breakfast since they were renovating the dining area, which was always great before.

The Sonesta Es Suites offered a beautiful and clean King Studio room, which was recently renovated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep after a long day of meetings. The breakfast included a variety of hot items such as eggs and sausage, along with fresh pastries and coffee, all well-stocked and maintained by friendly staff who were attentive and welcoming.

There were no notable negatives during my stay.

I loved the space! The kitchenette was nicely equipped, and I enjoyed having a large TV for my downtime.

The room felt like an apartment, very spacious and had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking our meals. Sarah at the front desk was super helpful, like, she knew exactly what we needed. Had a comfy stay overall.

One night, I had a bit of an issue with hot water. it barely lasted through a single shower. Breakfast options weren't great either since parts of the dining area were closed for renovations. There were some cleanliness issues in the kitchen area, and I wiped down a few surfaces myself. Despite a few hiccups, the bed was really comfy, and I slept well. The location was convenient for local attractions. Would consider returning if the renovations are done and the cleanliness standards improve.

the sonesta es suites is in a great location near downtown, making it easy to explore the city. we really appreciated the helpful staff, especially mitch, who went out of his way to assist us. the breakfast was also fantastic, with hot food and attentive kitchen staff. it's hard to find such great service elsewhere!
