Yad Vashem (Hebrew:יד ושם) is amemorial site inJerusalem. It is the central memorial for the victims of theHolocaust. It includes amuseum,school for teachers,archives, andlibrary. The site is located inJerusalem Forest on the western slope ofMount Herzl ("Mount of Remembrance"). It is 804 meters (2,638 ft) above sea level.
