Westminster Bridge is a road traffic and foot bridge over theRiver Thames betweenWestminster andLambeth, inLondon. It is right next to theHouses of Parliament.
Until Westminster Bridge was built in 1750, there was only one bridge[1] crossing the River Thames.[2]
In June 2012, the bridge was highlighted on theroute ofQueen Elizabeth II'sDiamond Jubilee Pageant on the Thames.[3]
